I thought I would post a quick update this evening as to the status of the MacHelp Cast. The show is very close to becoming reality and I am getting very excited. The last of equipment I’ve been waiting on (my microphone) should be delivered tomorrow. I had thought about creating the first few shows with my old Logitech headset microphone, but despite the quality not being too horrible sounding, I decided to wait. I think that the audio quality will be well worth waiting for.

I will be doing audio editing in Apple’s Garageband program. For recording guests, I will be using Audio Hijack Pro along with Skype. I will be producing about 3 or 4 episodes, completed and edited before I post them. I want to make sure that I get everything down to a science before I commit to doing a show a week. I will also need to get some listener questions together so we have some good content when we do go live!
